Exercises, techniques and functional games introduced during classes are designed to encourage and assist children in the development of strength, fitness, flexibility, and stamina. Classes are safe and fun, as well as ordered and disciplined; and are ultimately structured to increase children’s self-confidence, social skills and the ability to set and obtain goals.
Young children love learning karate as each child is a participant in every activity with no exclusions. Pair work ensures new friends are introduced, and collaborative activities are goal driven and achievable, meaning every child gets to feel good about themselves, their partner and their team. Children of all levels are welcome, and class duration ranges from 45mins (age 5-7) to 60mins (older children & teenagers).
